Florida Institute of Technology recently held commencement ceremonies for 1,035 graduates who earned associate’s, bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral degrees. In attendance at the May 5 event were graduates from Florida Tech’s Melbourne campus, its Extended Studies Division and its 100% online programs.
The spring commencement graduates included nontraditional students such as working parents, military service members and individuals looking for career advancement. Many more students are deciding to pursue degrees online, said Brian Ehrlich, Assistant Vice President, Director of Online Learning for Florida Tech.
Florida Tech’s e-learning programs are powered by University Alliance, a Bisk Education property. The division concentrates on providing an enhanced learning experience with instructor-led, streaming-video lectures.
Florida Tech, which includes the Nathan M. Bisk College of Business, offers more than 40 degree choices at the associate’s, bachelor’s and graduate levels, including 11 MBA programs.
